Since 1981

CMC History

Certified Marketing Consultants was founded by Glen Holt in 1981. Prior to forming CMC, Glen was a senior executive with a leading promotional products supplier company which provided him the opportunity to identify a need for an industry specific consultant service. His decision to assist industry companies through confidential consulting services on private sales, acquisition searches, business valuations, business reviews and services, and strategic and business plans, has resulted in the success of many leading distributor and supplier companies.

Jamie Watson MAS, CPA

COO

Jamie has been involved various aspects of Finance and Accounting for over 20 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University and then earned her Masters of Accountancy from Manchester College. She qualified as a CPA in the state of Indiana where she worked for the regional accounting firm of Alerding & Co., LLC. Jamie has been involved in the consulting of both supplier and distributor companies in the Promotional Products Industry for over 17 years. Jamie has earned the MAS designation from PPAI and the BASI designation from ASI.

Jeffry C. Meyer MAS, CPA

CEO

Jeff has been involved in various aspects of Finance for over 24 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from Manchester College. He qualified as a CPA in the state of Indiana where he worked for the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young. Jeff has been active in the Promotional Products Industry for over 20 years in various CFO and CEO capacities for a large group of supplier and distributor companies. During his career he has evaluated, negotiated and consummated many mergers and acquisitions and performed valuations on many more. Jeff has achieved the MAS designation from PPAI and MASI designation from ASI.

Fred is a dynamic executive with a hands-on leadership style. Fred is an accomplished leader of change and a proven operations leader with in-depth experience – leading professional services, advisory, inside sales, account management, customer success, and strategic alliance partnerships – providing strategy and vision to drive customer retention, profitability and growth for start-up and mature entities. Fred is known for building relationships with key stakeholders and for driving ongoing process and performance improvements to capture cost savings and impact the bottom line.
